For donors — giving supplies

Can we take it? Type it in.

Everything the shop takes goes straight to a Texas classroom, free. Search the thing you are holding and you will get a straight answer — no need to ring the shop.

Try encyclopedias, whiteboard, bean bag, sofa.

Wednesdays & Saturdays, 10–4
(10–2 January to May)

Please don't leave anything outside those hours. Boxes left at the door get rained on, and the shop cannot use them.

Clean and classroom-ready

Working, complete and clean. A volunteer has to be able to put it on a shelf the same day.

Books go elsewhere

We pass books to non-profits that specialise in books and children's literacy, so they reach readers faster than we could move them.

Everything we routinely take

This is what the shop asks for, and it covers most of what arrives. Teachers are notorious for finding a classroom use for things nobody expected, so the list is not the whole story. Holding something that isn't on it? If you can picture a teacher using it in a classroom, send us a photo at store@teacher-reuse.org and someone will tell you.

What we cannot take right now

Where to bring it

Come round to the back door of Building 640 at the Tanger Outlets — that is the way in for everyone. During drop-off hours you can drive round to the back instead of parking out front, and a volunteer will help you unload.

back door, open for drop-offs

Someone is there to take it from you and check it in.
